We believe in one eternal God who was revealed as the “Father” in creation. He took on a fleshly body (manifested in flesh) as the “Son or Son of God” in order to die for our sins and indwells believers as the “Holy Ghost/Spirit.” (Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16)
We believe that salvation was purchased by Jesus Christ. The redemptive plan (the Death, Burial and Resurrection) was made very clear through the teaching and preaching of Jesus, His disciples and the early church . As Peter preached on the day of Pentecost, men were convicted and asked what they had to do to be saved. Peter boldly declared to the entire city in Acts 2:37-39 “Repent (death) and be Baptized (Burial) in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Resurrection)”. The plan has not changed!
We believe that a new heart that comes with being born again leads one to love God and others and to live a life that reflects consecration to God in all areas of life. We count it a privilege to dedicate our lives to God who has done so much for us and to separate ourselves from a world that is bent on destruction. Our consecration begins in the heart and is a light to our world through our attitude, actions and outward lifestyle.
We believe Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church (the Rapture). Scripture and end time events warn us that the rapture is the next great event on God’s prophetic calendar. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
